This conceptual penthouse design at 600 West End Avenue, New York, imagines a complete reconstruction of the rooftop space while retaining the iconic water tank as a nod to the city’s character. The design emphasizes the role of natural light—harnessing daylight during the day and capturing the ambient glow of surrounding high-rises at night—to create a sustainable and serene living environment for a couple.
As night deepens, the penthouse sits quietly, gently lit by the soft glow from nearby homes, blending into the stillness of the city, while its elevated position escapes the intrusion of urban light pollution, offering a serene retreat under the stars.
